French Riviera, summer 2013

Hi everybody!
I want to share with you a wonderful trip in the South of France.
I traveled by car from Rome and the first stop was Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a beautiful seaside village located on a peninsula between Nice and Monaco.

This is a nice view of the bay from my hotel, a small and comfortable 3 star hotel called Brise Marine which I strongly suggest because of its affordable rates.

There are 2 beautiful beaches: Plage de Paloma and Plage de Passable. Both are small and I strongly recommend that you call in advance to make a reservation otherwise you won't have beach umbrellas and sun beds.

                                                                   Plage de Passable

After going to the beach I visited an amazing villa built in 1906: Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

The second stop was the Principality of Monaco, the second smallest country in the world, after the Vatican City.

This is the Palace of Prince Albert II, son of Grace Kelly and Rainier III.

But Monaco's most famous spot is Monte Carlo where there is the Casino that attracts gamblers from every part of the globe.

The third stop was Nice, another beautiful city located on the coast. The seaside walk is amazing and you can do fun and adventurous activities on the beach. I was too afraid to try them though!
                                                                      water sports!

One of the most famous hotels in Nice: Hotel Negresco. I had dinner at the restaurant Chantecler but it is really really expensive!

Me and my mom walking in the city center, called Vieux Nice that means old town.

The next stop was Cannes, the city of the film festival! There are a lot of famous hotels close to the beach and if you cannot afford a night you should at least have a walk inside.

The last stop was Saint Tropez, a resort for the European and American jet set! The famous french actress and model Brigitte Bardot gave fame to the village. There is a very long beach called Pampelonne and it is full of clubs for rich and famous people! The Club 55 is one of the oldest, it is very expensive and crowded, if you are in your twenties you should go to Nikki beach because at 6pm the music starts and everyone dances on the sun beds near the pool! I really loved the atmosphere there. Nightlife is what really attract people in St Tropez, there are incredible clubs and djs located in the surrounding aerea and you will notice that people there live during the night and sleep in the day. Beach clubs usually open at noon!

I hope you enjoyed the trip!!

The best anti-stress for travel lovers

This is our favourite anti-stress! It's a soft ball with the world map printed on it. When we prepare an exam it helps us a lot because we dream to be traveling instead of studying law!! Our passion for traveling is so strong that we think about trips all the time. We have already visited many many places and we feel very lucky because we are only in our twenties. Hopefully we will be able to visit the rest of the world in the upcoming years! :)

I hope you liked this nice world lover item,

California, 2009

Hey Everyone!!

During Summer 09, I went to California to learn and improve my english. I stayed in Irvine for one month, so I had the opportunity to travel around Orange County.

The first thing we did after lesson was obviously going to the beach.

huntington beach

Sunset in Huntington beach

At the end of the day we were obviously really hungry and we went to eat to really nice
restaurant at the end of Huntington Pier called Ruby's Diner

The next day, we went to the Orange County Fair.
In italy, we don't have this kind of fair so for me it was a really special day

Being so close to Disneyland, we couldn't miss going there and the first weekend we booked a trip to experience Disneyland's Magic.
The good thing is that if you want to do more "adult" attractions you can go to Adventure Park that is exactly in front of disneyland.
The roller coasters are really good and you can buy a combined ticket to go to Disneyland and Adventure Park on the same day. I suggest doing that even if the ticket is a bit expensive.

Since we couldn't get enough of roller coaster, the next day we went to the Universal Studios. We saw the set of a lot movies like Psycho, Shark , War of the worlds, King Kong and we also saw Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives tv series.

The best attraction is Jurassic Park: YOU HAVE TO DO IT!!

One week end we decided we really wanted to go to Las Vegas . We booked a hotel, the one with the Eiffel Tower but i don't remember the name . We were 4 people sharing a bedroom for 2 people with 2 king size bed so it was perfect. I don't think that this is allowed but no one checks on you and so if you don't have a lot of money to spend you can use this strategy :) .
Another suggestion is : don't go to Las Vegas if you're not 21 yet. I was 19 and i couldn't go to clubs or gamble..
